Dr. Andrew "Drew" Rummel was born in Reese, MI and moved with his family to Suttons Bay, MI as a child. After graduating from Suttons Bay High School, he attended Alma College where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree and majored in Chemistry and Business. Dr. Rummel was also on the Varsity Golf Team at Alma for four years, where he received numerous awards.
Dr. Rummel attended dental school at The Ohio State University where he was involved in student government, Habitat for Humanity, dental admissions and research projects. The results of several of his research projects were published in professional journals. While attending Ohio State, Dr. Rummel received The Outstanding Commitment to Community Award, the Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex, the Dental Student Award for exemplary aptitude and achievement in oral and maxillofacial pathology and the International College of Dentists Award for outstanding service to the profession of dentistry and leadership. He was also elected to membership in Omicron Kapa Upsilon, the Honor Dental Society. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Rummel attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI to specialize in orthodontics while receiving a Master of Science Degree.
Dr. Rummel is very grateful to have the opportunity to return to Northern Michigan and serve the Cadillac, Big Rapids and surrounding areas. Outside of the office, you may see Dr. Rummel playing golf or hockey, coaching or just enjoying the outdoors in Cadillac. His wife, Laura, a high school art teacher, and daughter Emmerson are very excited to be a part of this great community!
